Healthy Almond Chocolate Bark
Really!!?? You be the judge.
2-3Tbsp of cocoa (less for sweeter, more for not so sweet)
2Tbsp of organic virgin coconut oil melted
2 Tbsp maple syrup
handful of slivered almonds
you will need a mini cookie sheet or something firm to spread to mixture onto to set, as well as wax paper.
makes enough for 2 so you might want to doulbe the recipe. Just Say'n!
Mix all ingredients except the almonds in a small bowl until smooth. Place wax paper over the mini cookie sheet. Spread the chocolate mixture out into a thin layer on the wax paper. Sprinkle the slivered almonds over the top of the chocolate. Place in the freezer to set. About 1 hour. Once set break into pieces and store in a container in freezer. You will not need to thaw as the bark is ready to eat from freezer. Speakin from experience of course!
